个人简介：
2005年7月毕业博士于中国科学院昆明动物研究所，2007年3月至2010年5月在中国科学院动物研究所从事博士后研究；2008年10-12月在奥地利Vienna University行为学系访问，2013年9月至2014年9月在英国Cambridge University动物学系访问。
自2002年开始在西藏、云南、贵州、四川和湖北相关保护区从事滇金丝猴、黔金丝猴、川金丝猴和怒江金丝猴研究，是我国唯一开展过四种金丝猴生态学研究的学者，在非人灵长类保护生物学领域具有较高国际影响力和学术知名度，研究经历及成果曾被Nature杂志封底专栏介绍（Nature, 2023, 615:554）。
研究领域还涉及金钱豹、中华穿山甲、猕猴及喜马拉雅旱獭等野生动物生态学研究，自然保护地规划与管理、生物多样性监测与保护，野生动物生态旅游，人-野生动物冲突防控等生态文明建设热点问题，在提升自然保护区管理能力、缓解社会发展与生态保护矛盾，旗舰物种生态旅游技术发展，金丝猴社会凝聚力维持等方面获得系列研究成果，典型事迹被《人民日报》、《中国科学报》、《中国绿色时报》等媒体报道。
以第一作者(通讯作者)在Science Advance、Cell Reports、Science Bulletin (科学通报)、Conservation Biology、Biological Conservation、Behavioral Ecology、mBio、Zoological Research, Current Zoology, Integrative Zoology, American Journal Primatology、International Journal Primatology、Oryx等杂志表论文90多篇，其中SCI源刊论文70多篇（第一或通讯作者论文60多篇），研究成果受到国内外同行广泛关注，被Nature、Science、PNAS等国际杂志和新华社、《新华网》、《China Daily》、英国BBC、《中国科学报》、科学网等媒体报道。

主要研究领域/方向：
1）灵长类学：运用行为学、遗传学、内分泌学以及信息化学等研究手段解决金丝猴的繁殖策略、生活史、性信号、性选择等非人灵长类学及人类学的核心问题。
2）自然保护地学：以野生动动物为对象，开展自然保护地功能规划与治理体系在濒危物种保护及致害物种冲突防控中的应用实践研究，探索兼顾肇事防控和生物多样性保护的保护地监测体系，服务以国家公园为主体的自然保护地体系建设国家战略。
3）进化生态与保护生物学：以金丝猴、金钱豹、中华穿山甲、喜马拉雅旱獭为研究对象，开展其对高原、低氧、低温、洞穴、缺氧等极端环境的行为、生理的适应性进化机制研究，探索物种濒危和解濒机制等保护生物学基础科学问题。。
